I still remember when I was a student, when I saw Maxwell’s equations for the first time, I couldn’t help but think of the picture that flashed through Marconi’s mind:

This is an elf with wings! I can release it from the shackles of wires, let it cross mountains, rivers and oceans with lightness;

This is a series of wonderful ripples that can break through the void and wander to the distance beyond light years;

This is a great power that spreads information and power to every corner without obstruction at the speed of God.

What would it look like if the ear could hear electromagnetic waves? Is it all noisy, or are there some strange melodies from time to time? I have no idea. But no matter what, I have decided that I want to learn to control this force field and compose my own music.

In this era of 5G high-speed Internet, it seems like a joke to study how to transmit information through dozens of baud rates.

But in my opinion, what others give is not so practical after all. Ad-hoc is the most natural and flexible communication mode that has existed since ancient times and will never die. Moreover, it is so simple and elegant to implement.

Radio waves are free, and limited only by knowledge and imagination.
